The Kansas AFL-CIO and it's Central Labor Councils invite candidates for public office to complete a written survey, and we follow up and interview those who our committee of union leaders believe deserve further consideration.
In order to receive an endorsement from labor, candidates must demonstrate both electoral viability and a strong commitment to the working class agenda. After a committee interview and discussion, a democratically elected delegate body convenes to finalize all endorsements.
Things won't change if we don't support candidates who support the Labor Movement! We can make sure government works for working people by electing these candidates, who our delegate assembly believes deserve your vote and will work in your best interests.
